When packing, remember to strap your surfboard to the roof racks to catch the waves at either ‘Spot’ or ‘Spout’. You can walk to both these breaks from The View House. The locals will tell you these are two of the best breaks along the Anglesea to Lorne coastline. Otherwise Bells, Winkipop, Johanna, Cathedral are all on this stunning coastline. Swimming options abound of course, with patrolled beaches at Fairhaven, Lorne and Anglesea.
With the spectacular beach views beckoning your eye its difficult to remember that The View House is located in a stunning bushland setting with a garden embracing the native environment. Relax on a sun lounge on the front deck or for a little more protection enjoy the vast decking at the back of the house with an entertaining area including large outdoor table and BBQ.
Leisurely or more active walks abound either on the beach sand or bushland hills and tracks at the rear. There is so much exploring to do around the entire property. A highlight is sure to be searching for star fish in the Rock Pools at Spout Creek.
The tranquility of the location at Eastern View is cherished but if you want to venture out to explore Aireys Inlet is home to some wonderful treasures. Book for lunch or dinner at the delicious A La Greque or a more casual dinner at Captains Pizza or Aireys Pub. Grab some takeaway fish and chips to enjoy with friends or the kids on the beach from the fish and chip shop. If you want to explore a little further Lorne and Anglesea are a short drive away.
